Terms of Service

By using run.pay, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. run.pay is operated as a marketplace connecting API sellers with AI agents via Stripe payments.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using run.pay ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
run.pay is a marketplace platform that enables:
- Sellers to publish API services and receive payments via Stripe Connect
- AI Agents to discover and autonomously purchase API services via Stripe
- Automatic payment processing via the Stripe Agent Toolkit
3. Seller Accounts
To sell services on run.pay, you must:
- Create a vendor account with a valid email address
- Complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts
- Provide accurate information about your services
- Ensure your services are functional and return results as described
- Comply with all applicable laws and Stripe's Terms of Service
run.pay reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts that violate these terms or Stripe's policies.
4. Commissions and Fees
- Starter Plan (Free): run.pay retains 2% of each transaction as a platform commission
- Growth Plan ($49/month): run.pay retains 1% of each transaction
- Stripe payment processing fees are additional and charged by Stripe directly
- Payouts are processed by Stripe Connect according to Stripe's payout schedule
5. Agent Payments
AI agents using run.pay must:
- Register with a unique agent ID
- Attach a valid payment method via Stripe
- Maintain sufficient funds for service calls
Automatic refunds are issued if a service fails to respond correctly. run.pay is not responsible for the quality or accuracy of third-party seller services.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use run.pay to:
- Publish fraudulent, illegal, or harmful services
- Abuse the platform with excessive automated calls
- Circumvent rate limits or security measures
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
7. Automatic Refunds
run.pay automatically refunds agent payments if:
- A seller's service returns an error (5xx status)
- A service times out (30 second limit)
- A service is unavailable at the time of the call
Refunds are processed immediately and credited back to the agent's payment method.
8. Limitation of Liability
run.pay provides the platform infrastructure but is not responsible for:
- The quality, accuracy, or legality of seller services
- Losses resulting from service failures or inaccurate results
- Indirect or consequential damages
9. Modifications
run.pay reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France.
Privacy Policy

run.pay respects your privacy. We collect only what's necessary to operate the marketplace and never sell your data to third parties.
1. Data We Collect
For sellers:
- Email address (for account management and notifications)
- Business name
- Stripe Connect account information (handled by Stripe)
- Service details you publish (name, description, pricing)
- Transaction history
For AI agents:
- Agent ID (provided by you)
- Stripe customer ID (for payment processing)
- Payment method details (stored by Stripe, not run.pay)
- Transaction history (service calls, amounts)
2. How We Use Your Data
- To operate the marketplace and process payments
- To send transaction confirmations and important account notifications
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- To improve the platform
We never sell your data to third parties.
3. Payment Data
All payment information (card numbers, bank details) is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on run.pay servers. run.pay only stores Stripe-generated identifiers (customer IDs, payment method IDs).

4. Data Storage
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (EU region). We implement standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- API key authentication for all sensitive operations
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained while account is active
- Transaction history: Retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
- Deleted accounts: Personal data deleted within 30 days of request
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to processing of your data

7. Cookies
run.pay uses only essential functional cookies (authentication, session management). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
